This question has been asked many times, and I found only one ‘solution’, however that did not work.
There is a pink banner by default in the Bakery Pro Theme that I would like to change the color of. (see image on post)
Per inspection of the page, it is within the header id. (see image on post)
In trying to find the answer, I found the suggestion to add this to the Additional CSS file.
To change ribbon color add the following CSS.To add CSS follow the steps below
Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS >> Paste the given CSS on it>> Publish.
.logo_outer {
border-right: 90px solid #ff7c93; // change color code according to your requirment
border-left: 90px solid #ff7c93; // change color code according to your requirment}
below is the custom CSS that I added to the appropriate spot (as listed above)
.logo_outer {
border-right: 90px solid #e82969
border-left: 90px solid #e82969}
Adding this did NOT change the color of the banner.
I have also tried as above, with it listed at .logo_outer_box, and that did not work either.
As I have seen multiple people say they could not post multiple web links, and I do not have a way to add photos to the post, I have created a blog post with the images.
Assistance with this will be greatly appreciated!
